TULSA, OK–Clemson’s Clement Reix defeated Chris Klingemann of Ohio State 6-2, 2-6, 6-3 in the second round of the Polo Ralph Lauren All-American Men’s Tennis Tournament in Tulsa, OK Thursday night in the main draw.
Reix, a senior from Amiens, France is ranked 16th in the ITA. Last season he advanced to the final eight of the NCAA Tournament and earned All-America honors. Reix will play Jakob Klaeson of Mississippi Friday in the round of 16 in the 64-player tournament.
The doubles team of Bobby Cameron and Kaden Hensel of Tennessee defeated Reix and Jarmaine Jenkins 9-8 (8) in the 32-team main draw.
