Q. What sports did you play outside of football while growing up?A. For me, it’s always been about the sport of football. I started in the third grade playing in a recreational league. I was a big kid who played right offensive tackle and defensive end. The high school coach would even come out there and tell me how he was looking forward to me playing for the team once I got older.

Q. What is your favorite part about being at Clemson University?A. Being around a lot of different people from various places and backgrounds, and building the different friendships.

Q. What kind of restaurants do you like to frequently visit?A. I’m a big fan of sushi, so places like Solé Grill & Sushi Bar down the road in Seneca or any place that serves sushi.

Q. What kinds of music do you like?A. I listen to just about everything, from hip-hop, country, rock and R&B.

Q. Which sports teams in the professional ranks do you root for?A. I’m a big Tom Brady fan, so mainly the Patriots. I was a Celtics fan for awhile, but fell off from them after they broke up. I watch sports whenever they’re on TV.

Q. What do you like to do away from football in your spare time?A. “I’m a big gamer, so I like to play video games like Madden, 2K and Battlefield with many of my teammates.

Q. Who are some influential figures who inspire you?A. My brother. He was the first person in my family to go to college, so he got a taste of the real world first, what to expect and how to do things right with all of the temptations that exist out there. It helped me get to where I am today as a person.

Q. Do you have any siblings?A. I have two older brothers and one brother who is younger.
