Q&A With Maverick Morris

Q. What sports did you play outside of football?A. I wrestled and was a track & field athlete.

Q. What is your favorite part about being at Clemson?A. Family atmosphere. I love that about this place.

Q. What are your career plans after Clemson?A. Coaching. I’ve had so many influential coaches who have inspired me at Clemson and in high school.

Q. What do your parents do for a living?A. My mother is a stay-at-home mom, while my father does work as a contractor.

Q. Do you have any siblings?A. I have two older brothers. I’m the youngest.

Q. Who are some influential people who inspire you?A. Coach Buddy Nobles is a big one, as is Robbie Caldwell. He’s tough, but he’s always looking out for us.

Q. What kind of restaurants do you like eating at?A. It depends on how I’m feeling that particular day. I am a big fan of chicken, grilled or fried.

Q. What kinds of music do you like?A. I like all kinds of music. It usually depends on the mood, but I’m down to listen to just about anything.

Q. Which sports teams do you root for?A. I don’t usually follow one particular team, but I usually root for the Buffalo Bills since Seth Ryan (son of head coach Rex Ryan) is my roommate.

Q. What do you like to do at home during your spare time?A. I like to take it easy at home, rest and play a little Xbox.
