The first two heats of Event #14, the 1650-yard freestyle, will be swum at 5:20 p.m. The final heat of that event will be swum with tonight’s finals. The 1650-yard freestyle is a timed final. The finals of the three-meter diving competition (Event #19) will be held on Saturday’s night. Preliminaries were held on Friday and the field was cut to eight competitors for tonight’s final. The timed final of the 400-yard freestyle relay will be the final event in tonight’s competition, Event #20.
