Clemson Athletics announced today the hiring of Jordan Plumblee as Assistant Director of Marketing. Plumblee joins the marketing department after a year at the University of North Carolina, where he directed or assisted in marketing functions associated with all sports. He also created and managed various marketing strategies and communication efforts for the department.
As Assistant Director of Marketing at Clemson, Plumblee is responsible for marketing, promotions and game management for all varsity sports with the exception of football and men’s basketball and oversees the operation of all video boards. Plumblee will play an instrumental role in driving attendance initiatives and creating additional exposure for Olympic Sports.
“We are thrilled to have Jordan join our staff,” said Assistant Athletic Director Mike Money. “He’s is one of the top rising talents in our industry and will be a great asset to Clemson Athletics.”
Plumblee graduated from Clemson in 2013 with a degree in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management along with a minor in Business Administration. Throughout his four years as a Clemson student, Plumblee worked in the athletic marketing office and assisted the ACC at both the football and basketball championships.
Plumblee is originally from Greer, S.C. and is married to the former Sarah Turman.
