Clemson Notes:

• Clemson is coming off a 3-0 win over UCLA at Historic Riggs Field on Tuesday night. Diego Campos scored on a penalty kick in the third minute after Harrison Kurtz was brought down in the box, Patrick Bunk-Andersen headed in his second goal off an assist from Campos and Kimarni Smith scored his third goal off an assist from Grayson Raynor.
• The Tigers won their ACC home opener against Boston College 1-0 on Friday, Sept. 15. Captain Tanner Dieterich sparked the Tiger offense with his first goal of the season, assisted by captain Oliver Shannon and Saul Chinchilla. Dieterich was named to Top Drawer Soccer’s team of the week for Sept. 18 after his performance against the Eagles.
• Campos leads the team with three goals and two assists on the year, good for eight points. Smith also has three goals, including the overtime game-winner against Georgia Southern on Sept. 4.
• Jason Wright, Malick Mbaye and Justin Malou have also found the back of the net for the Tigers this season, with Wright doing it twice.
• Campos, Raynor and Kurtz lead the team with two assists.
• Ximo Miralles has totaled 17 saves against four goals allowed in just over 580 minutes, while Daniel Kuzemka has allowed no goals with one save in 55 minutes.
• Clemson ranks second in the ACC in goals allowed (four in seven matches) and goals against average (0.56).
• Clemson ranks first in the ACC and sixth nationally in average home attendance (2,685 per match).
• Bunk-Andersen scored his first goal of the year against rival South Carolina and earned ACC Defensive Player of the Week for Sept. 5 as a result.
• Clemson opened the season with four consecutive wins for the first time since 2013.
• The Tigers defeated South Carolina 4-1 on Friday, Sept. 1, and the win was head coach Mike Noonan’s 300th career victory.
• Clemson is ranked No. 8 in the United Soccer Coaches Poll. The Tigers are one of seven ACC teams in the top 11.

Pittsburgh Notes:

• Pittsburgh is coming off a 2-1 victory over a winless Robert Morris team on Tuesday night at home. Colin Brezniak and Joshua Gaspari contributed goals in the win.
• Brezniak leads the team in scoring, having netted two of the Panthers’ six goals.
• Redshirt sophomore goalkeeper Mikal Outcalt has played every minute of all seven of Pittsburgh’s matches in the net, allowing seven goals against 28 saves.

Series Notes:

• The Tigers and Panthers have only met twice previously, once at Historic Riggs Field and once at Pittsburgh, and Clemson took both matches 2-0.
• Dating back to 2013, Clemson leads the overall series 2-0-0.
