CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – The Clemson women’s rowing team will travel to Charlottesville, VA this weekend to participate in the UVA Invitational at Lake Monticello. The action starts at 9 AM Saturday and Sunday.
The Tigers will face No. 1 Virginia, No. 14 Cornell, No. 19 Minnesota, Notre Dame, Northeastern, and San Diego on Saturday, followed by No. 15 Michigan State and Northeastern on Sunday.
“The team has had a great week of training,” said Clemson Head Coach Robbie Tenenbaum. “We are really excited to see our speed against some of the top teams in the country.”
“We’ve had lineup changes in the 2nd Varsity 8 and Varsity 4 boats,” said Tenenbaum. “Both crews have really come together well over the last few days of training.”
“Our Varsity 8 continues to improve with every practice, and we’re looking forward to seeing how we do against these top teams.”
