Miller Receives More All-America Honors

Clemson, SC –

Brad Miller was named a First-Team All-American by Baseball America at shortstop, announced Wednesday. Miller also received second-team All-America honors by NCBWA. The junior from Windermere, FL is Clemson’s first first-team All-American since 2006 (Tyler Colvin, Andy D’Alessio). Miller was named a first-team All-American by Collegiate Baseball earlier in June.

Miller, the 2011 ACC Player-of-the-Year, leads the ACC in batting average (.395) and on-base percentage (.498). He also totaled 11 doubles, three triples, five homers, 50 RBIs, 53 runs, and 21 stolen bases in 56 games (54 starts). He was drafted in the second round by the Seattle Mariners as well.
