Men’s Track & Field to Host Clemson Relays This Weekend

Meet Program

The men’s track & field team will host the Clemson Relays this weekend at the Rock Norman Outdoor Complex. Friday’s event will get underway at 3:00 PM with the long jump and pole vault competition for the men. Also on Friday will be the javelin throw along with 3000m steeplechase and 10,000m run.

Competing for the Tigers on Friday will be Andrew Kessler, Kenny Knox, and Sean Reilly will run the steeplechase for Clemson at 5:20 PM, while Jay Lumpkins and Eric Soder will be in the 10,000m run at approximately 6:20 PM.

Saturday’s running events begin with the 5000m run at 10:25 AM. Competing in the 4x1500m relay for the Tigers at 11:45 AM will be the team of Sean Reilly, Brian Knapp, and Clay Pendleton. In the 110m hurdles, Clemson will enter Roy Cheney, Rashad Gardner, and Lydell Perry. In the 400m hurdles, Andy Porter will join the aforementioned group from Clemson.

The 4x100m team from Clemson will be Cheney, Lydell Perry. In the 100m competition, Brown will compete along with Feathers, Fields, and Padgett.

The distance medley relay team of Noble, Roy Cheney, Rashad Gardner.

In the field events, Danny Alge will compete in both the hammer throw and discus. He will be joined in the discus by multi-event athlete Mike Feathers.
