Men’s Tennis defeats N.C. State on Sunday

CLEMSON, SC–The Clemson Men’s Tennis team defeated the N. C. State Wolfpack 5-2 Sunday at the Hoke Sloan Tennis Center.

Nathan Thompson won at #1 singles with his win over Nick Cavaday 6-4, 6-3. He later teamed with Ryan Young and the pair defeated the Wolfpack’s Cavaday and Will Shaw 8-3.

The Tiger’s improved to 24-9, 6-4 in the ACC to end regular season play, while the Wolfpack go to 15-11, 2-8 in the ACC. This was the last match of the season for the Tigers. They will now begin play in the ACC Tournament, which is to be held at Raleigh NC April 21-24.
