Men’s Cross Country To Compete At NCAA Southeast Regionals On Saturday

The Clemson men’s cross country team will compete at the 2002 NCAA Southeast Region Cross Country Championship this Saturday, Nov. 15. East Carolina University will host the meet at Overton’s Lake Kristi. The Southeast Region consists of Division I schools from Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. The top two teams from each region automatically qualify for the NCAA Cross Country Championships to be held Monday, November 25, at Indiana State University.

The men’s 10K event will start at 11 AM, and admission to the meet is free of charge.

Participants: Appalachian State, Campbell, Charleston Southern, Charlotte, Clemson, Coastal Carolina, Davidson, Duke, East Carolina, Eastern Kentucky, Elon, Furman, Gardner-Webb, High Point, James Madison, Kentucky, Liberty. Louisville, Morehead State, NC State, Norfolk State, North Carolina, Radford, Richmond, South Carolina, The Citadel, UNC Asheville, UNC Greensboro, UNC Wilmington, Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, Western Carolina, Western Kentucky, William & Mary, and Winthrop.
