Lady Tigers To Face No. 5 Duke Sunday Afternoon

CLEMSON, S.C. — The Clemson Lady Tiger basketball team will play fifth-ranked Duke in Durham, NC on Sunday, February 10, at 1:00 p.m.

Clemson has a 14-8 record overall this season. The Lady Tigers have a 6-5 record in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Clemson has won four of its last five games. Clemson is led in scoring by Chrissy Floyd who is averaging 16.5 points per game. Floyd is second in the ACC in scoring. Clemson’s rebounding leader is Maggie Slosser who has a 5.6 rpg. Marci Glenney has scored 121 points in the last seven games.

Duke is 20-3 overall and 12-0 in the ACC this season. The Blue Devils are ranked fifth in both the Associated Press and USA Today polls. Duke is led in scoring by Alana Beard with an 18.8 ppg. average. Iciss Tillis leads the team in rebounding with a 8.6 rpg. mark.

This will be the 54th meeting between Clemson and Duke on the basketball court. Clemson lead the overall series 32-21. On January 10, seventh-ranked Duke defeated Clemson 81-58 at Clemson, SC. Clemson Head Coach Jim Davis is 22-13 vs. Duke.

The game will also be televised live by Fox Sports Net South with Beth Mowins (Play-by-Play) and Debbie Antonelli (Analyst) calling the action.
