Seattle, Wash. – The Clemson women’s basketball team is spending the Thanksgiving weekend in Seattle, WA for the Husky Classic. The Lady Tigers defeated Kent State on Friday afternoon in the first round of the tournament and will play for the title on Sunday at 5:00 pm (Eastern) against the University of Washington.

Off the court, the team has enjoyed touring the Seattle area. After traveling on Wednesday, the Lady Tigers went to see the Snoqualmie Falls on Thursday before having their Thanksgiving dinner at the hotel.

The team has also visited the Pike Place Market, one of the oldest continually operated farmers markets in the country, including the famous Pike Place Fish Market, where employees throw three-foot salmon and other fish to each other rather than passing them by hand.

The Lady Tigers then rode to the top of the famed Space Needle to view the Seattle skyline from the 520-feet observation desk.
