Lady Tiger Basketball To Face Duke Monday

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson women’s basketball team will travel to Duke to take on the top-ranked Blue Devils at 7:00 PM on Monday, Jan. 6, 2003. The game will be televised live by Fox Sports South.

Clemson holds a 32-22 advantage in the series. The Blue Devils have won the last three meetings, with the most recent being a 77-69 decision at Duke in 2002.

Clemson enters the game with an overall record of 9-3. Most recently, the Lady Tigers opened ACC play by defeating Virginia, 63-62, at The Civic Center of Anderson in Anderson, SC.

Senior guard Chrissy Floyd leads the Lady Tigers in scoring, averaging 18.1 points per game. Freshman center Amanda White leads the team in rebounding with an 8.0 rebounds-per-game average.

Duke enters the game with a 12-0 overall record. The team is led in scoring and rebounding by Alana Beard, who is averaging 23.5 points per game and 6.5 rebounds per game. The game will be Duke’s first conference contest.
