Clemson center Submit A Question. Questions for Young need to be submitted by Tuesday, July 10.

In 2001, the Clemson, S.C. native is looking to become only the second ACC player to be a three-time first-team Academic All-American. He also has a chance to become only the second offensive lineman in college football history to accomplish that feat.

He enters the 2001 season ranked as the fourth best center in the nation by Lindy’s and Athlon magazines. In 2000, Young set a Clemson record with 120 knock down blocks on the way to being named a second-team All-American by the Football News.

Young graduated Summa Cum Laude from Clemson in May and will play his final season of eligibility as a graduate student.
