Harrington & Maden to Compete in NCAA Singles & Doubles Championship

ATHENS, Ga. – Junior Hunter Harrington opens play in the singles draw of the 2014 NCAA Individual Championships on Wednesday, while Harrington and senior Dominique Maden begin play in the doubles draw on Thursday. Matches will be played at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex in Athens, Ga.

Harrington is currently ranked 48th nationally with a 24-12 overall record and a 17-9 mark in dual matches. The First-Team All-ACC selection from Spartanburg, S.C. faces 26th-ranked Daniil Proskura of Alabama in the Round of 64 of the singles draw Wednesday at 9 a.m.

Harrington and Maden are currently ranked ninth nationally with a 28-3 overall record and a 23-1 record in dual doubles play. The duo, which ranks first in Clemson history in terms of single season doubles winning percentage (.903), faces 5-8 Seeded Ross Guignon and Tim Kopinski of Illinois in the doubles draw on Thursday.

Maden, a Second-Team All-ACC honoree from Stuttgart, Germany, and his brother Yannick earned All-America honors in doubles in 2013.
