Harrington and Yannick Maden Named All-ACC

GREENSBORO, NC – Clemson men’s tennis players Yannick Maden and Hunter Harrington have both been named to the 2013 All-ACC Men’s Tennis Team as announced by the league office.  This is the first time since 2007 that the Tigers have had two or more selections in the same year.Maden is 25-7 overall, and 19-4 in dual matches at number-one singles this season. He is ranked 26th in singles in the latest national rankings.  He also plays number-one doubles for the Tigers with his brother Dominique Maden.Yannick and his brother Dominique were awarded bids to the NCAA Individual Singles and Doubles tournaments to be held May 22-27 at the Khan Outdoor Tennis Complex/Atkins Tennis Center in Urbana, Illinois.Harrington has a 20-8 record overall in singles and a 16-5 mark in dual match play this year.   The Spartanburg, SC native plays number-two singles for the Tigers.  Harrington is also 19-9 overall in doubles and 15-6 in dual matches.  Harrington is currently ranked 105th nationally in singles.Clemson is currently ranked 23rd in the nation as a team.  The Tigers will be in action next weekend in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in Knoxville, TN.
