Gamble and Coday Named Strength & Conditioning All-Americans

CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson football player Jason Gamble (Wichita, KS) and volleyball player Alison Coday (Springfield, MO) were selected by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as 1999 NSCA All-Americans.

The award program recognizes outstanding male and female athletes who have excelled in their strength training and conditioning. Selections are also based on community involvement, academic achievement, and leadership qualities.

Gamble was an honorable mention All-ACC center in 1998 and recently signed an NFL free agent contract with the Tennessee Titans. He started all 11 games last season and was a participant in the Blue-Gray All-Star game.

Coday was a member of the AVCA All-District team and the All-ACC second team in 1998. At the outside hitter position, Coday ranked third in the ACC in kills per game (4.13) and 10th in the league in hitting percentage (.268)
