Four Tigers Compete in the Highland Park Classic Pro Circuit Futures Qualifying Tournament Clemson’s Derek DiFazio advanced to the Quaifying Round.

BIRMINGHAM, AL–Four Clemson Men’s Tennis players competed in the Highland Park Classic Pro Circuit Futures Qualifying tournament this past weekend.

Clemson’s Derek DiFazio advanced to the qualifying round yesterday, and plays 10:00 AM for a chance to make his second straight Futures main draw.

The Tigers’ Kevin Galloway and Moritz Dettinger went down in the second round, while teammate Robert Pietrucha lost in the third round.

First Round:

Kevin Galloway def. Mujtaba Khan 6-0, 6-0

Robert Pietrucha bye

Derek DiFazio bye

Moritz Dettinger bye

Second Round:

Michael Rinaldi def. Kevin Galloway 7-5, 6-7(2), 7-6(2)

Casey Kay def. Moritz Dettinger 3-6, 6-4, 7-5

Derek DiFazio def. Jacob Jensen 6-0, 6-0

Third Round:
