INDIANAPOLIS — Former Clemson Lady Tiger basketball player, Itoro Umoh is on the Indiana Fever’s opening day roster. The Indiana Fever of the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) opens its regular season on May 31, as the team hosts the four-time defending WNBA champion Houston Comets at Conseco Fieldhouse at 7:00 p.m..
At Clemson, Umoh was named first-team All-ACC in 1999 and was an unanimous ACC Tourney MVP in 1999. She finished ninth on the Clemson career list for most points with 1,409. She was also 13th on the Clemson career list for most rebounds with 543. She finished her career in third place on the school’s career list for most assists with 459 and steals with 265.
