Former Clemson Lady Tigers prepare for the WNBA Draft

CLEMSON, SC-Clemson Lady Tigers basketball senior Lakeia Stokes participated in the WNBA combines this past weekend in New York City.

Stokes was named first team All-ACC in March as well as named Region II All-American. She finished the season with a 17.0 ppg. average. She also led the team in assists with 104, and steals with 70. She also led the team in rebounding with a 7.0 rpg. mark.

Former players Chrissy Floyd and Erin Batth both participated in a free agent camp in New Orleans, LA this past weekend.

Batth was drafted by the Cleveland Rockers of the WNBA in 2001. She was a member of the ACC’s All-Defensive Team in 2000 and 2001.

Floyd was a third round pick in 2003 by the Seattle Storm. Floyd finished her career with 1,937 points, second on the Clemson career list. She was named first team All-ACC in 2002 and 2003.
