Former Clemson All-American Wins Future Pro Circuit Event in France

CLEMSON, SC–Former Clemson Tennis All-American Clement Reix won another Future Pro Circuit Event in La Roche-sur-Yon, France last week.

Reix, currently ranked 382 in the world, continues to move up the ATP rankings and will make another jump after last week’s results. He has won three of his last four Futures tournaments making him one of the hottest players on the Futures Tour. In the finals Reix defeated Yannick Mertens of Belgium currently ranked #223 in the ATP world rankings.

At Clemson, Reix was a 2006 All-American in Singles. He reached the NCAA Final Eight in the Singles Tournament in 2006 and finished the 2006 season ranked ranked 23rd in the final ITA RankingsHe was also a two-time All-ACC performer in 2006 and 2007.

Reix will compete for his fourth title in five attempts, in this week’s Futures Event in Rotez, France.
