CLEMSON, SC – Clemson produced eight All-Academic Team selections, as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Seven members of Clemson’s ACC Championship women’s team were named All-Academic, while Warren Fraser was included from the men’s squad.

Leading the selections from the Tiger women’s team were ESPN the Magazine Academic All-Americans Patricia Mamona and Liane Weber. The latter was a first-team Academic All-American and ACC champion this past season in the pentathlon and heptathlon. Mamona was NCAA champion during the outdoor season in the triple jump, and was a third-team Academic All-American as well.

Other selections from the women’s roster for the All-Academic Team were Linda Buchholz, Stephanie Buffo, Alyssa Kulik and Amy Morrison.

Fraser earned the nod from the men’s team after his freshman season. The native of the Bahamas recently competed for his native country in the IAAF World Junior Championships. He was also the ACC’s fifth-place finisher in the 100m dash at the conference championships this past April.
