Edwin McCain to Perform Live at Tiger Tailgate Show Saturday; Brad Brownell Also to Appear

Clemson fans, gather at the Lawn at Littlejohn for their pregame fun this Saturday for the OrangeandWhite.com Tiger Tailgate Show, starting at 9:00 AM. Edwin McCain, the man who brought the world unforgettable songs like “I’ll Be,” “Solitude” and “I Could Not Ask For More” will be live, on stage to perform those and even more songs from his new album “Mercy Bound.”

Show hosts David Stein and Roy Philpott will also host a live interview with Clemson men’s basketball head coach Brad Brownell, where he will talk about Friday night’s opener against Gardner-Webb and what lies ahead for the 2011-12 season. What’s more, there will be countless games and prizes fans can win on the spot, an exclusive interview with head coach Dabo Swinney and The Coolest Free T-shirt Ever Given Away Anywhere.

Stein Versus Food Fans can bring their best tailgate food item to the stage for host David Stein to eat live on-air. The fan with the best (or most unique) culinary submission will be interviewed live on-air and win $100 worth of gift certificates from Clemson sponsors.

Bojangles Paw Patrol Those not at the Lawn at Littlejohn can still win as The Bojangles Paw Patrol will be cruising the parking lots, giving away Bojangles’ gift cards worth anywhere between $1 and $100 each and The Bojangles Paw Patrol will be choosing one lucky fan to be the Academy Sports Tailgater of the Game.

Sponsor Displays Fans can register for several free prize drawings and get free souvenirs on site. Verizon will demo devices and host a drawing for free accessories. Fans will receive licensed drawstring bags, eye black and foam hats from Verizon.
