Davis To Be Inducted In The Tennessee Wesleyan Hall Of Fame

ATHENS, TN – Clemson Women’s Basketball Coach Jim Davis will be inducted in the Tennessee Wesleyan College Hall-of-Fame Saturday morning, October 13.

The inductees will be honored during a buffet breakfast, which begins at 8:30 a.m. in the Glen Lowe Dining room at the Fine Arts Building.

Davis, who has served as Clemson’s Head Women’s Basketball Coach for the past 14 seasons has a 299-138 record and has carried the Lady Tigers to 13 NCAA Tournaments in the past 14 years. He also has 11 top 25 seasons and 11 seasons of at least 20 wins at Clemson. Under Head Coach Jim Davis, the Lady Tigers have made four NCAA Final 16 appearances and one NCAA Final Eight appearance. The Lady Tigers have also won two ACC Championships in 1996 and 1999.

Davis graduated from Tennessee Wesleyan in 1970 and received a master’s degree from Tennessee Tech in 1975.

In 1996, he was inducted into the Tennessee Junior and Community College Athletic Association Hall-of-Fame.
