CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson Athletic Communications office announced today the hiring of Nik Conklin as Coordinator of Digital Content.
Conklin graduated from Long Island University in Brooklyn, N.Y. in May 2012 with a degree in media arts and English, and earned four varsity letters with the Blackbirds’ men’s soccer program. He went on to earn a master’s degree in media arts with a concentration in video production from LIU in May 2014.
The native of Stafford, Va., served as a Graduate Assistant Video Coordinator at LIU, where he created feature videos and original content for the school’s athletic website. He also implemented a new HD broadcast initiative and managed live streaming of Blackbird athletic events for eight varsity sports.
“Nik is going to bring a new dimension to our communications staff’s video capabilities,” Assistant Athletic Director Joe Galbraith said. “We’re excited to have him join the Clemson family and look forward to seeing the exceptional work he’ll produce.”
