Coday Named ACC Volleyball Player Of The Week

CLEMSON, SC — Clemson’s Alison Coday and Wake Forest’s Trina Maso de Moya earned Atlantic Coast Conference Co-Player of the Week honors last week.

Coday, a senior outside hitter from St. Louis, MO, averaged 4.17 kills per game, 0.83 service aces per game and finished the weekend with a .535 hitting percentage, leading Clemson to a 3-0 record on the week. In the Tigers’ match against Furman, Coday recorded eight kills, five service aces and a .667 hitting percentage with no errors. She was named MVP of the Clemson Tournament.

ACC Rookie of the Week honors were again captured by Clemson setter Jessi Betcher, who finished the week averaging 13.80 assists per game, as well as averaging 4.50 digs per game and 1.00 kill per game with a .500 hitting percentage. The freshman setter also earned all-tournament honors for the third-straight weekend.
