Ryan Mason

Position: Volunteer Assistant Coach

Mason is in his first season at Clemson, serving as a volunteer assistant coach. Prior to his arrival, Mason was as an assistant coach for Cal State Northridge’s (CSUN) men’s program.  Mason was a part of the CSUN the Matadors’ men’s team as a setter from 2010-15, including a redshirt year in 2011. He earned his bachelor’s degree in sociology from CSUN in 2015 and is currently pursuing a master’s degree at Concordia University Irvine.

“We are thrilled to add Ryan to our coaching staff,” said Clemson head coach Michaela Franklin. “He has experience coaching and playing at the collegiate level and I am counting on him to bring that experience to our gym. Ryan fits perfectly with our staff and has the passion to learn, grow, and help our program continue to propel forward. He will assist mostly with our offense as well as help enhance our serving game.”
