• Clemson is making its first trip to Louisville, the 14th ACC opponent in history the Tigers have faced on the road.

• The Tigers have a four-game Thursday night winning streak on the line. Clemson won at Wake Forest in 2012 and 2014, and at NC State and home against Georgia Tech in 2013.

• In the win over Appalachian State, defensive tackle Carlos Watkins became the first interior lineman to score a touchdown on an interception return for the Tigers since Jock McKissic against South Carolina in 2006.

• Charone Peake is coming off a career-best two touchdowns and 86 receiving yards in the App State game. Peake hauled in two of Deshaun Watson’s three touchdown passes.
