ClemsonTigers.com Records Impressive Numbers on Signing Day

Not only was February 2, 2011 an extraordinary day for the Tiger football team, whose class of 29 signees included seven players on ESPN.com’s top-150 list, it was also an impressive day for ClemsonTigers.com. The site’s Signing Day Central page ranked third among all schools in the CBSSports.com College Network in terms of page views.

Clemson’s Signing Day Central webpage was viewed by 117,957 people on February 2. Only two schools in the CBSSports.com College Network (North Carolina and Auburn) recorded more page views. ClemsonTigers.com ranked fifth among all official athletic websites in the CBS network.

ClemsonTigers.com’s Signing Day video updates were also a hit on the web. Over 19,600 people have watched the video of the Clemson football staff celebrating the announcement by Tony Steward, while nearly 14,000 have viewed the video of the Tigers’ celebrating the announcement made by Stephone Anthony. Steward and Anthony were the first and third ranked linebackers in the nation according to Rivals.com and were two of only three first team USA Today All-Americans at the linebacker position.
