Clemson’s Silja Ulfarsdottir Named ACC Women’s Indoor Track & Field Performer Of The Week

GREENSBORO, NC – Clemson’s Silja Ulfarsdottir was selected as the ACC Women’s Indoor Track and Field Performer of the Week. The junior from Reyjavik, Iceland, posted an ACC best and provisional qualifying time of 54.07 in the 400m at the Kentucky Invitational to finish in fourth place. She also ran the lead-off leg on the Lady Tigers’ 4x400m relay team that placed second in that event with a time of 3:36.80. The relay time was also a provisional mark for the NCAA Indoor Championships and is the fastest recorded in the conference this season.

Ulfarsdottir and the Lady Tiger track and field team will return to action on Saturday, Jan. 24, as they host the Clemson Invitational, a One Clemson…Solid Orange event.
