Clemson Women’s Track and Field – NCAA Day Three Results

The Clemson women’s track and field team completed competition on day three of the NCAA Outdoor Championships held at Hayward Field.

The Lady Tigers’ 4x100m relay team of Shannon Murray, Shekera Weston, Michelle Burgher and Cydonie Mothersill finished fourth with a time of 44.19. The 400m relay team set a school record of 43.62 in the semifinals of the event held Wednesday.

Cydonie Mothersill competed in the semifinals of the 100m, finishing sixth in her heat with a time of 11.79. She did not qualify to compete in Saturday’s finals.

Shekera Weston and the 4x400m relay team will compete in the finals of their respective events on Saturday. Weston qualified to compete in the finals of the 200m dash with a time of 23.09, while the 1600m relay team qualified for the finals with a school-record time of 3:30.11. The Lady Tigers’ 4x400m relay team entered the 2001 Outdoor Championships seeded third.
