Clemson Women’s Track And Field In Fourth Place After Day One Of ACC Championships

CHAPEL HILL, NC – The Clemson women’s track and field team is in fourth place after day one of the 2002 ACC Indoor Track and Field Championships with 26 points. NC State leads the conference with 48.50 points, while Georgia Tech is second (46) and Florida State is third with 34 points.

The Lady Tigers qualified eight for Saturday’s finals, and Antisha Anderson was 13th (5’2.5″). Gisele Oliveira was the Lady Tigers’ top finisher in the long jump with a mark of 19’2.25″ and a fifth-place finish. Kenya Reed and Laura Ann Rukat, Katrina Moultrie, Tiffany Charles and Rebecca White finished ninth with a time of 13:05.09.
