Clemson Women’s Track and Field finishes competition at the Clemson Invitational

The Clemson Women’s Track and Field Team finished sixth at the Clemson Invitational on Saturday. Alabama won the event with 121 points, Auburn was second with 87, Georgia Tech finished third with 85.50, followed by fourth place Charlotte with 78, fifth place Mississippi State with 77, sixth place Clemson with 70, seventh place Georgia with 66.50, and Virginia Tech with 27 points. The Lady Tigers had an event winner as Patrice McMillan won the 800m with a time of 2:17.13.

Patrice McMillan, Thea Dix, Anni Korhonen finished seventh with a mark of 5’5″.Beth Jordan placed third in the pole vault with a mark of 12’5.5″. Miyamoto placed seventh in the triple jump with a mark of 39’4.5″, and Michelle Rogers finished eighth with a jump of 39’3.25″. Allison Bradshaw finished sixth in the shot put with a throw of 44’5.25″, and Della Clark placed eighth with a mark of 42’11.75″.

Ope Sobanjo registered a time of 1:00.30 in the 400m. Carolina Rash finished with a time of 2:25.73 in the 800m, and Felicia Hawthorne and Katie Farnan each registered marks of 5’1″ in the high jump.
