Tiger junior Ani Mijacika, the nation’s #2 player, will look for her 21st win of the year and will likely face reigning ACC Player-of-the-Week and 13th-ranked Irina Falconi at the top singles flight. Mijacika boasts an 8-1 record in dual matches with her lone loss coming in a match in which she suffered an injury. Prior to that, she had defeated five straight top-20 opponents.

Wednesday’s match will be the 31st meeting between Clemson and Georgia Tech on the tennis courts. The Tigers lead the series score by a 23-7 margin but the Yellow Jackets won the match-up during the 2008 regular season, 6-1, in Atlanta, GA. Clemson avenged the loss in tournament play, knocking off top-seeded and second-ranked Georgia Tech, 4-1, in the semifinals en route to the conference title.
