Clemson Women’s Soccer Team in Action in the Community

Members of the Clemson women’s soccer team took some time off from their spring training routine on Friday, April 5 to spend the day in the community.

Several members of the team visited the Children’s Hospital of Greenville Health System in Greenville, SC.  The players visited with many young patients at the hospital, and spent time talking with the kids and their families and handing out Clemson items.

Another group of women’s soccer players attended the 12^th Annual Law Enforcement Expo Safety Day presented by the Clemson Police Department.  The event was held at Nettles Park in Clemson and the student-athletes staffed the table representing Clemson Athletics, handed out posters from all of Clemson’s sports teams and played soccer with local children in attendance at the event.
