Clemson Women’s Soccer Program Announces Spring 2011 Schedule

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson women’s soccer program has announced its 2011 spring exhibition game schedule. The Tigers and new head coach Eddie Radwanski will be in action five times this spring, including two contests to be played at home at Historic Riggs Field.

The Tigers’ first spring action will be a 2:00 PM contest against Mercer on Sunday, February 27 in Macon, GA. The team will play its first home game of the 2011 spring season on Wednesday, March 9 when it plays host to Georgia State in an 8:00 PM game at Historic Riggs Field.

Clemson will travel to Atlanta, GA on Saturday, March 12 to face the Atlanta Beat of the WPS (Women’s Professional Soccer League). The game will be played at KSU Stadium in Kennesaw, GA and is scheduled to kick off at 2:00 PM.

On Saturday, April 9, the Tigers will play in the ACC Spring Tournament in Winston-Salem, NC. Clemson will face Miami (9:30 AM), Virginia Tech (1:30 PM) and N.C. State (3:30 PM) in the tournament, which consists of three 60-minute games for each team.

The Tigers will conclude the 2011 spring season at home as they play host to College of Charleston on Saturday, April 16. The game will begin at 2:00 PM at Historic Riggs Field.
