Clemson Women’s Scrimmage Report

Clemson, SC – The Clemson women’s basketball team held its annual Orange & White scrimmage at Littlejohn Coliseum on Thursday. The team, under the direction of first-year head coach Cristy McKinney, played four, 10-minute quarters of intrasquad basketball.

The leading scorer in the scrimmage was sophomore D’Lesha Lloyd with 19 points. She hit eight of 16 shots from the field and also contributed seven rebounds. Amanda Frist (formerly Amanda White) led the Lady Tigers with 11 rebounds, including four on the offensive glass.

Khaili Sanders, a senior forward from Atlanta, GA, scored 15 points on 7-11 shooting. She added eight rebounds and a pair of steals. Maxienne White, a red-shirt sophomore, and Susan Yenser, a freshman from Marietta, GA, chipped in with 10 points apiece. Yenser also collected three steals.

The only player not participating on Thursday was freshman guard Christy Brown, who is out due to injury.

The Lady Tigers play host to Anderson College on Tuesday, November 1 in an exhibition game that tips off at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for high school ages and under. Faculty and students will receive free admission.
