Clemson Women’s Basketball To Play Exhibition Game Thursday

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson Lady Tiger basketball team will play host to Dynamo Club team of Moscow, Russia Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. in Littlejohn Coliseum.

Clemson Head Coach Jim Davis, who is entering his 15th season, welcomes back three starters and eight letterwinners from last year’s team that finished ranked 22nd in both the Associated Press and USA Today polls. The Lady Tigers had a 21-10 record last season and a 10-6 mark in the ACC.

Davis has a 299-138 record in his 14 years at Clemson and a 318-146 mark in his 15-year career. Davis spent one year at Middle Tennessee State before coming to Clemson.

Junior Chrissy Floyd led Clemson in scoring last season with a 16.9 ppg. average. Senior Marci Glenney averaged 9.6 ppg. Senior Krystal Scott averaged 9.8 ppg. and 3.7 assists per game. Clemson has been to 13 NCAA Tournaments in the last 14 years under Head Coach Jim Davis. Clemson will start the regular season on Friday, November 16, at 7:00 p.m. when the Lady Tigers entertain East Carolina at 7:00 p.m.
