Clemson Volleyball To Travel To Florida State

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson volleyball will travel to Tallahassee, FL, to play the Florida State Seminoles Friday night. First serve is slated for 7:30 p.m., and will be televised live on the Sunshine Network.

Florida State is 10-9 overall and 6-4 in conference play entering this week’s schedule. The Seminoles are on a three-match win-streak with victories over Wake Forest, Virginia and Maryland.

Norisha Campbell leads Florida State in kills with 302 (4.31 kpg) as well as in hitting percentage (.354) and blocks (90 total). Jennifer Anderson has handed out 868 assists and has a 12.40 assists per game average, while Kristin Frye has served up 31 aces. Alexandra Sevillano has tallied a team-best 198 digs (2.83 dpg).

Senior Jodi Steffes leads Clemson with 274 kills and a 3.91 kills per game average. Steffes has also served up a team-high 29 aces, and is second on the team in digs with 187 (2.63 dpg). Lori Ashton leads the Tigers with a .285 hitting percentage and 59 blocks (15 solo). Jessi Betcher has handed out a team-high 726 assists and leads the team in digs with 191 (2.73 dpg). She also ranks second on the team in service aces with 26. Clemson is 6-13 overall and 2-9 in the ACC.

The Tigers are 10-15 all-time against the Seminoles, and 10-9 against Florida State under Coach Jolene Jordan Hoover.
