Clemson Volleyball Releases 2011 Match Promotions Schedule

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson volleyball team, in conjunction with the marketing department, has released the 2011 match promotions schedule on Thursday. The schedule features several programs designed to enhance the fan experience. The team averaged more than 1,000 fans per match last season, and looks to boost the total this year.

The promotions schedule is kicked off with Fan Appreciation Night for the Tigers home opener on August 28th vs. Loyola-Maryland. The first 250 fans in attendance will receive a free Clemson Volleyball Tiger Towel, as well as Clemson Volleyball posters and schedule cards. The rest of the promotions schedule is highlighted by the annual Dig Pink Match, which will take place on October 28th vs. defending ACC Regular Season Champion Duke and the Solid Orange Match on September 30th vs. North Carolina.

Other popular promotions include Camper Reunion Night, Clemson Student Appreciation Night, Youth Night and Scouts Day. In the spirit of Halloween, there will be a Halloween Costume Contest on October 29th with the top 3 costumes, voted on by the fans, winning a prize. On November 18th and 19th bring 2 canned goods to be entered for a chance to win two tickets to a Men’s Basketball Game.

Fans will also have the opportunity to participate in the Frequent Fan Program. Each fan can receive a frequent fan card when they enter Jervey Gym. At every match attended, take your card to the promotions table and get it stamped. After attending 5 matches, your card may be entered into a drawing for a grand prize at the end of the season, and you can begin stamping a new card.

Other in-game promotions will also take place during the matches to give fans the opportunity to win a variety of prizes.
