Clemson Volleyball Hosts Big Orange Bash This Weekend

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson volleyball team, ranked 18th nationally, will play host to Kentucky and #30 Notre Dame this weekend at the Big Orange Bash in Jervey Gym. On Friday, Clemson will face Kentucky at 7 p.m. Kentucky leads the series with Clemson, 6-0. The Wildcats won last year’s meeting 3-1 in Louisville.

Notre Dame and Kentucky will play Saturday at 2 p.m. Kentucky holds a 9-5 series margin over Notre Dame, however, Notre Dame has won the past three meetings against the Wildcats. The two teams last met in 1996, when the Irish took a 3-0 win at Notre Dame.

The tournament will conclude on Sunday, when Clemson will square off against Notre Dame at 2 p.m. Clemson and Notre Dame have only met once. The Fighting Irish defeated the Tigers 3-0 in 1996 at the Mizuno Cup in Chicago, IL.

Admission to all home Clemson volleyball matches is free.
