Clemson Volleyball Falls To Georgia Tech

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson Tiger volleyball team lost a 0-3 (12-15, 10-15, 10-15) match to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Friday evening at Jervey Gym. With the loss, Clemson drops to 10-14 overall and 4-7 in the ACC while Georgia Tech improves to 20-4 overall and 10-1 in the league.

Kiki Dallao led the Tigers with 14 kills and nine digs while Jackie Dalleska tallied 12 kills and a team-high .333 hitting percentage (12-3-27). Jodi Steffes recorded 13 digs while Missy Kudelka added ten more defensive saves. Jessi Betcher tallied a match-high 43 assists.

Teryl Townsend led four Yellow Jackets in double figures in kills with a .517 (15-0-29) hitting percentage and four blocks (one solo). Enkeleida Mabry tallied 12 kills with seven block assists while Kele Eveland handed out a team-high 40 assists with 13 digs and nine kills. Georgia Tech outhit the Tigers .324 to .207.

Clemson hosts Charlotte next Tuesday, Oct. 31 at 7:00 p.m. at Jervey Gym. Admission is free to all home volleyball matches.
