  • The Tigers are currently on a four-match win streak with their most recent win coming over No. 11 Wake Forest, 1-0.
  • Junior Diego Campos found the back of the net for the 5th time this season to lift the Tigers over the Demon Deacons.
  • Campos also leads the Tigers with 12 points this season.
  • Sophomore Ximo Miralles paved the way defensively for the Tigers with four saves and zero goals allowed, improving to 5-1-1 for the season.
  • The Clemson defense led by sophomore Patrick Bunk-Andersen has only allowed one goal in the last four matches.
  • The Tigers are ranked No. 3 in the first NCAA RPI.
  • Clemson is ranked No. 5 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Poll, No. 5 by Soccer America, and No. 6 by Top Drawer Soccer.

 

Coastal Carolina Notes:

  • The Chanticleers of Coastal Carolina are currently 4-4-1 and have won three straight.
  • Coastal Carolina has yet to lose at home with season with a 2-0-1 record.
  • Martin Melchor and Frantzdy both have nine points to lead the Chanticleers.
  • Junior goalkeeper Braulio Linares-Ortiz has played 650 minutes in net and has a 4-2-1 overall record with three shutouts.
  • Back on Aug. 26, the Chanticleers fell in a close 2-1 match with Virginia at Klöckner Stadium.

  • Clemson’s all-time record against Coastal Carolina is 8-2-2.
