Clemson To Start Play In ACC Tournament Wednesday

Clemson will start play in the ACC Tournament on Wednesday, November 12 at the SAS Soccer Park in Cary, NC. Clemson is the sixth seeded team and will play third seeded Virginia on Wednesday, November 12, at 8:00 p.m. Clemson is 9-7-2 on the year. The Tigers are 2-4-0 in the ACC this season.

Clemson has a 11-12-3 record overall in ACC Tournament history since its beginning in 1987. Clemson has a 5-7-1 record in the quarterfinal round and a 4-3-2 mark in the semifinal round. The Tigers are 2-3 in the championship match. Clemson won the league crown in 1998 and 2001. Head Coach Trevor Adair has an 8-5-1 record in the ACC Tournament and has claimed two titles, 1998 and 2001.

Clemson’s Charlie Roberts has scored five goals in the last four matches. He scored one goal against Maryland and one against Elon. Against North Carolina he scored the winning goal on November 1. He also scored two goals vs. Furman on November 9. Charlie Roberts both have five goals and one assist each for 11 points. Paul Souders has three goals and four assists for 10 points.
