Clemson to play South Carolina in Men’s Tennis Wednesday

CLEMSON, SC–The Clemson men’s tennis team will play at South Carolina in Columbia, SC at the Sam Daniel Tennis Center Wednesday, April 6 at 2:30 p.m.

Clemson has a 21-7 record overall this season and is ranked 24th by the ITA. South Carolina has a 16-6 record overall and is ranked 22nd by the ITA.

The Tigers are led by senior Nathan Thompson with a 21-6 record overall in singles. Thompson and Ryan Young have an 11-4 record at number one doubles.

This will be the 73rd meeting between the two schools since 1948. South Carolina leads the series, 41-31. The Tigers won last year’s meeting 6-1 at Clemson.
