Clemson To Open Play In ACC Men’s Soccer Tournament

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson men’s soccer team will open play in the 21st Annual ACC Men’s Soccer Tournament at the SAS Soccer Complex in Cary, NC on Wednesday, November 14.

Clemson, the number seven seed will play second-seeded Wake Forest at 8:00 p.m. This winner of this match will meet the winner of the Duke-North Carolina match on Friday, November 16.

Clemson has a 7-10-1 record overall and finished with a 2-6 record in league play. Clemson is led in scoring by Tate Parrish with six goals and six assists for 18 points. Freshman Tommy Drake has five goals and three assists for 13 points.

Wake Forest is led in scoring by Cody Arnoux with 12 goals and five assists for 29 points. The Demon Deacons have a 15-1-2 record overall and had a 6-1-1 mark in the ACC. Last week, Wake Forest was ranked number one in the nation by Soccer America, and number two by the NSCAA.

Earlier this season, Wake Forest defeated Clemson 1-0 at Historic Riggs Field on September 21.

This will be the 32nd meeting between Clemson and Wake Forest on the soccer field. Clemson leads the overall series 16-12-3.
