Clemson to Face Virginia in the ACC Men’s Soccer Tournament

CLEMSON, SC–The Clemson men’s soccer team will start play in the ACC Tournament against Virginia on Wednesday, November 9, at 8:00 p.m. at the SAS Soccer Complex, in Cary, NC.

Clemson is seeded seventh in the tournament, while the Cavaliers are seeded second. Clemson is 10-4-3 this season, and have won the last four matches in a row and have a 5-0-2 record in the last seven matches.

The Tigers are led in scoring by Dane Richards with seven goals and six assists for 20 points. Mark Buchholz has five goals and one assist for 11 points.

Virginia has a 12-3-2 mark this season. Yannick Reyering leads the Cavaliers in scoring with 11 goals and one assist for 23 points. Adam Cristman has seven goals and six assists for 20 points.

The Cavaliers defeated Clemson 1-0 in overtime on October 7, at Clemson, SC in this year’s regular-season meeting.
