Clemson to face North Carolina Sunday

CLEMSON, SC-The Clemson men’s soccer team will play host to North Carolina Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at Riggs Field.

Clemson will enter the match with a 8-7-1 record overall and a 2-4 mark in the ACC. The Tar Heels have an 8-7-2 record overall and a 3-3 slate in league play.

This will be the last home match for the Tigers this season. Senior Steven Rhyne leads the Tigers in scoring with 11 goals and four assists for 26 points. It will also be the last home game for seniors Rhyne, Landy Mattison, and J.D. Brooks.

This will be the 47th meeting between Clemson and North Carolina on the soccer field. The Tigers lead the overall series 25-15-6. The Tigers have won three of the last four meetings between the two schools.
