Clemson Swimmers Browning and Foster Selected to Participate in NCAA 2010 Career in Sports Forum

Laura Browning and Harry Foster of the Clemson swimming and diving team have been selected as participants in the inaugural NCAA 2010 Career in Sports Forum to take place May 11-14, 2010 in Indianapolis, IN.

Participants are selected by the NCAA from a national pool of student-athlete applicants. The Forum is a four-day event through which selected student-athletes explore careers in sports, with a primary focus on collegiate athletics. They will examine the key functions of a coach or administrator and focus on foundational skills such as communication, networking, recruiting, managing culture, transition and budgeting.

Browning is a freshman majoring in Special Education. She hails from Alpharetta, GA and swims the breastroke and individual medley events for the Tigers. Foster is a sophomore majoring in Financial Management and is a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. The native of York, PA swims the butterfly and freestyle for the Tigers.
